Time to redo it. Sorta

Well I had a beautiful (not really) text post last night and I guess my ipad didn’t wanna upload it. I don’t even remember what I said in it but it was mostly about programming and taking upper divs. Speaking of which, I am definitely NOT READY OMG I’M GONNA DIE.

My life I’m choking on my spit. Wow that was bad. My face is probably all red; it gets red too easily. Sexy semicolonnnnnn~

KASA staff meeting in like two hours. I don’t think I’m gonna continue KASA/VSA next year. Gonna start getting involved with SASE and maybe SWE? Whatever the engineering clubs are. Gotta start building those connections! I feel like no one’s even gonna miss us when we leave KASA. If anything, probably Wayne, Harry, Tiffany, Luis?? But probably not. Feel like all the main staff people don’t like us that much.

Speaking of SASE, totally buying like six lumpias from them tomorrow. I’ve been craving filipino food for some reason. This is what happens when Justin and Andrea feed me good food right before I leave! Teasing my taste buds.

I don’t even know what to talk about.

I bought a plane ticket to go back home for the summer. I’m only gonna go back for a month. I wasn’t even planning on going back home for summer but freaking $225 roundtrip ticket came up and I HAAAAD to get it because it was such a good deal. Now I know why my dad buys everything when it’s on sale.

I know my essays are great when I mention my dad/family in them. He’s been through so much.

Okay now’s not the time to go into that I’m gonna start bawling my eyes out in the corner.

God damn I really hate you. You’re the only person I hate.

I feel like I give people too many chances. Too many opportunities and it just leads to disappointment. I’ll just take a step back from people and not worry about much for a while. This summer’s my time to finally get me time!!!! >:) Pretty excited for that. Probably wander around the forest and spend some time sleeping on top of JBaskin hehe. Stargaze near media theater, watch the sunset at sunset tree, try to sleep in a random building without getting caught, using our summer sticker on our IDs to its full advantage and getting lost while taking a random bus like the 35. It’ll be cool doing a lot of this with the people still in Santa Cruz too. :) Just having like a couple days to myself is all I need honestly. Freaking David cockblocking me and my me time.

I still have to use my two meals on my little slug card thing. I don’t think Edgard wants to go anymore. He seems too busy lately. I’ll was thinking about going this Sunday, but we’ll see. If not, probably that Sunday before finals. The Sunday after banquet.

I never know how to tell people things. Like how I’m going home this summer, how I got a boyfriend, how I’m making things for graduating seniors, etc. I’m really bad at talking about myself, but I like it that way. I hate it when I’m trying to bond with someone though. Wish I could open up so that people would think they’re special hearing things from me. :(

Honestly, if I’ve shuffled my itunes/ipod around you then you are preeeeeeetty damn special. I always get so nervous when people hear my music. It goes from Natalie Portman’s rap to TSwift songs and it’s just wat.

Did I mention how I’m not ready for my upper divs. Because I am NOT READY FOR MY UPPER DIVS.

I feel like I don’t have the logic and math background for computer science. Or any engineering field in that case. I do enjoy coding, but I guess I enjoy it for websites/more graphical uses rather than print lining EVERYTHING. Outputting things onto the terminal is ew. But it’s super rewarding when it starts working. Harry’s taking 12b over the summer and I told him to hit me up if he needed help! I would honestly love coding with him. Gotta rebuild that foundation!

But shit. CS104a help. :(

I lose a lot of motivation when close friends are in the same class. I feel bad asking for help so I just give up and don’t care as much. I felt like last quarter was such a productive quarter. Even though I took all math classes, no one was with me in MATH21 and CE16 and it was nice. 19b didn’t count since I retook it and it was with Berman. xD Freaking Jose and Devin being too smart. :((((

Well, I’m gonna go pee. I can’t take this anymore.

Oh, nevermind the feeling went away. My bladder’s so bad why. I can’t imagine how bad it’ll get when I get older. I’m just gonna pee my pants every step I take.

Omg I have two mosquito bites. One on my arm and the other on my neck. They hurt so much. T____T Thankfully the mosquitoes here aren’t as bad as the ones back at home! My bites would get so bad omg, it was disgusting. I wonder if I’m allergic to certain mosquitoes or something. My mom wrote something in elementary school and I was excused from recess because there were mosquitoes outside hahahha. I remember being really happy about not going outside too because it was hot and gross.

WHAT ELSE DO I TALK ABOUT.

Since I’m going back home for sure, I’m gonna make it my goal to eat at the House of Blues, WIldberry, and Cici’s. I’ve been planning on eating that mac and cheese pizza from Cici’s for like three+ years!

Oh god I just called my mom and told her I’m going home. I wonder if anyone understood my horrible Chinese. I wanna speak Canto to other people. Must get out of my 10-year-old grammar phase! Bump it up to 15 years old, aww yeeeeee. I told her how a boy might come to visit for a week. She’s probably thinking he’s my boyfriend… and he is. xD But she’s probably worrying about it all night now.

I understand how she wants me to wait to date until after college, but that’s stupid. I’m gonna be old and gross and shorter when I graduate. No one’s gonna wanna go out with me! It’s better to have little relationships here and there for the experience. First relationships are always a mess for a while. You start getting to know yourself and what you really want from another person. Learn from mistakes sorta thing. Plus I feel like break ups make you stronger as a person! I haven’t really been a sympathetic person after a break up LOL. I get really sad for like a day or two, but then I completely get over it really quickly. I dunno, I just don’t care about a lot of stuff. One of the many mysteries of Connieeee~

K time to go back to math homework. This post has been pointless.

Today is our last full day here in Chicago. Again, the weather was meant to be poor, but it turned out to be another beautiful (if ridiculously hot) day.

First up was a trip to the Adler Planetarium, the oldest of its kind in the world. Here is the Atwood Sphere, a century-old contraption originally used to teach students the location of stars and constellations in Chicago’s night sky.

Next, and just down the road, is the Field Museum. Home to Sue, the most complete and best preserved skeleton of a tyrannosaurus rex, and hundreds of excellent natural history exhibits, we had a great time. The best part was being ‘shrunk’ to the size of a bug for the Underground Adventure, which was full of enormous creepy-crawlies…

Finally, a short walk into town to the Chicago Cultural Center. Full of Chicago inspired art and historical exhibits, this is an excellent distraction for tourists. Best of all, the cost of entry is our favourite price, free.
